Dear Colleagues,
I am currently working on a meta-analysis project to examine the outcomes of job insecurity. Although my research assistants have been diligently locating all published works incorporating such measures of job insecurity, we are also seeking copies of any conference presentations and/or unpublished findings in order to address the "file drawer" problem and any resultant publication bias affecting our meta-analysis effect size estimates.
We would very much appreciate a copy of that work and/or any other unpublished/file drawer studies that examined the relationship between job insecurity and its outcomes.
If a write-up is not available, even receiving the following summary information would be helpful:
- Name and Authors of job insecurity measure used and identify it as a cognitive, affective, or global (including both cognitive and affective) measure
- Descriptive statistics (reliabilities, sample size) for job insecurity and its outcomes
- Correlation matrix of job insecurity and all of the outcomes that were included in your study
Please send your studies to ohp@uwosh.edu and indicate how you would like to be cited.
Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide. We hope the results of our study may shed light on the outcomes of job insecurity for researchers and practitioners in this area.
Sincerely,
--
