Colleagues,
The University of Waikato in New Zealand is seeking to appoint an Associate Professor or Professor in the field of organisational psychology. I am attaching the job advertisement, along with position descriptions for the two levels. We are looking to appoint someone who has an interest in teaching some or all of the following areas: (1) personnel recruitment and selection; (2) personnel training and development; (3) performance management. We are hoping to appoint a person who also has strengths in statistical data analysis, for example structural equations modelling (SEM) and/or hierarchical linear modelling (HLM). Areas of research interest are open.
There is some teaching at undergraduate level, but the majority of our focus is in a masters level program in organisational psychology which includes several papers in psychology and in human resource management. There is also a doctoral program for students who are interested in obtaining a PhD in this field. If you have any queries about the position or would simply like to discuss it further with us, please do not hesitate to contact me at this email address.
If this position is of interest to you, we look forward to receiving your application. If you are not personally interested, but know of colleagues who may be interested, we would be grateful if you could forward this email to them. Thanks very much.
If you have any queries about the position or the School of Psychology, please don't hesitate to contact me. Although there is no official closing date for applications, we anticipate reviewing applications at the end of April.
With best wishes,
Michael O'Driscoll
