    Postdoctoral Research Position

      Developing a Skill Based Assessment of Emotional Intelligence 

    Wharton School, University of PA

     

    Academic Year 2016-2017

     

    The Robert Katz fund for Emotional Intelligence and Leadership is seeking an applicant for a postdoctoral fellowship position, focusing on the creation of an innovative ability test of emotional intelligence.  We are looking for applicants with a strong testing background and interest in emotions research. Priority will be given to applicants with a strong expertise in Item Response Theory.   The post-doc will work with the Professor Sigal Barsade, as well as colleagues at the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence with whom we are partnering in this effort.  Applicants are welcome across academic fields. 

     

    Location:  Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA. Some travel required.

    Starting date:  Summer or Fall 2016.

    LengthThe contract will be for a period of one year initially, and is renewable based on performance.

    Compensation:  Competitive with similar positions and commensurate with experience.
