Hello Yih-teen,
I hope this email finds you doing well.
One aspect of a manager's ability to successfully lead change is her ability to effectively communicate the need for a change and subsequently have her employees ready to embrace the change. In this regard, Achilles Armenakis and Stan Harris' work on change readiness may be relevant:
Armenakis, A. A., Harris, S. G., & Feild, H. S. (1999). Making change permanent: A model for institutionalizing change. In W. Pasmore and R. Woodman

Subject: [OB-LIST] Assessment scales for capabilities of leading change
I am looking for measurement scales or assessment tools that provide individual-level assessment of a manager's capability in leading change. It may include capabilities of embracing change for the manager in question (e.g., I guess Goal Orientation may fit here) and capabilities of influencing others to make organisational change successful.
Being familiar with Kotter's 8-step model for leading change, I would also highly appreciate any advices on other frameworks of specific leadership behaviours for leading change.
