    My apologies for cross-postings:

The Ian O. Ihnatowycz Institute for Leadership at the Ivey Business School, Western University, London, Ontario, has instituted an annual prize for the best leadership article published in a top-tier journal.  We celebrate a scholarly leadership article with the most "impact" 3 years after it was published. The award is associated with a $1,000 prize and a plaque.

This year the award goes to:

    Schaubroeck, J. M., Hannah, S. T., Avolio, B. J., Kozlowski, S. W. J., Lord, R. G., Trevino, L. K., Dimotakis, N., & Peng, A. C. (2012). Embedding ethical leadership within and across organizational levels. Academy of Management Journal, 55, 1053-1078.

John Schaubroeck visited the Ivey Business School on November 20 to present his work.  John and his colleagues declined the cash prize and the plaques.  Since it is highly likely that some of the Soldiers who participated in their study were wounded or perhaps killed in action, they asked us to donate the money to the Wounded Warrior Project: http://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/

Congratulations to John and his co-authors!
