The Department of Management in the College of Business and Entrepreneurship at the University of Texas – Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) seeks applicants for an open rank position in Human Resources Management beginning Fall 2016. Candidates who qualify for a senior-level rank are encouraged to apply. This position can be tenured or tenure-track depending on the candidate's qualifications. The hired faculty member will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses with a 2/2 teaching load. Successful applicants must demonstrate strong ability to conduct high-quality research and publish in top journals. Our faculty members have published in top journals including JIBS, AMJ, Journal of Operations Management, Journal of Management, P Psych, JMS, OBHDP, Organization Studies and others.
Applicants must have a doctoral degree in management or related area from an AACSB accredited program by the start of the Fall 2016 semester. Preferred specialty is Human Resources Management. Applicants must provide evidence of teaching effectiveness and strong research ability.
