The Cotsakos College of Business, accredited by AACSB invites applications for two tenure-track positions at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Department of Marketing and Management Sciences, beginning September 2016.

Both positions require an earned doctorate in Management with evidence of teaching excellence, and an established record or promise of research and significant achievement in scholarly activity. (ABDs with assurance of completion of the degree by September 2016 may be considered for appointment at the rank of Instructor and promotion to Assistant Professor upon completion of the degree.)

An additional interest in the field of business strategy / entrepreneurship and ability to teach in the area is preferred for the first position. The second position, an additional interest in the field of organizational theory / analytics and ability to teach in the area is preferred. Preference will be given to candidates who can teach a variety of general management courses.

Instructor/Assistant Professor, Management Job Code 667

The Cotsakos College of Business, accredited by AACSB, invites applications for a one-year temporary appointment in Management, in the Department of Marketing and Management beginning Fall 2016.

A doctorate in Management earned less than five (5) years ago or a doctorate earned more than five (5) years ago with significant achievement in scholarly output, including peer-reviewed publications, is required for appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor. Candidates who are ABD or with a master's degree and recent significant industry experience related to the field of teaching may be considered for appointment at the rank of Instructor.

The regular teaching responsibility includes four classes per semester and will include graduate (MBA) and undergraduate courses.  In addition to introductory management courses, candidates will be expected to teach in the following fields: ethics, sustainability, entrepreneurship, and organizational theory.
