    Call for Research Fellowship

     

    EMLYON Business School, located in Lyon (France), invites a postdoctoral researcher to fill a position of Research Fellow to work within the newly created research center on Work and Organization*. The candidate would work with Dr Soenen on the following funded project:

     

    ·         Exploring the relationship between health/wellbeing at work and performance among executives. The research is quantitative; it uses proprietary data from a longitudinal panel study of senior managers in SMEs.

     

    Profile

    The candidate must hold a PhD in Organizational Behavior/Work Psychology/Health Psychology/Management, or alternatively a PhD in Neuroscience with an interest in work & organizational psychology. A strong command of statistical analysis is required (in particular, longitudinal SEM, moderated mediation analyses; knowledge of Mplus software appreciated). Knowledge of French is not required but will be regarded positively as the position may involve some field research in France.

     

    Position

    The appointment is part-time, i.e., 3 days a week equivalent. Workload is not equally spread-out during the year; expect intense periods interceded with quieter periods. The calendar of activities will be known in advance, allowing the person to plan his/her other activities. Full time presence in Lyon is not required. 

    For the rest of the time, the research fellow is encouraged to pursue his/her own research (access to EMLYON Business School facilities will be provided), or seek teaching opportunities within the school (which are numerous). The yearly salary is about 22.000 Euros (before tax).

    Tasks involve: scale development; data administration (with Qualtrics); data analysis; report presentations (written reports). If interested, possibility for co-authorship of research papers can be discussed.

     

    The position is for one year, renewable for one additional year.

    Starting date: End of September 2015.
