The School of Business at The College of New Jersey invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor of Management beginning academic year 2016-2017. An earned doctorate in an appropriate discipline from an AACSB accredited business school is required for appointment. A Ph.D. in Management is preferred. ABD candidates will be considered only on the condition of full doctoral completion by August 2016.
Candidates should have a teaching interest in strategic management and in one of the following areas: entrepreneurship, and/or leadership. A commitment to undergraduate education and active participation in the development of innovative and/or interdisciplinary courses and programs are expected. The primary teaching responsibility is expected to be Strategic Management. This is a comprehensive senior-level class taught in an engaged and interactive manner. Therefore, along with an active research agenda, evidence of effective teaching is especially important. All faculty are also required to teach introductory core courses in the department.
