    Dear OB Division Listserv Members,

     

    At the University of Melbourne, Australia, we have the vision of being globally recognized as the leading Department of Management and Marketing, in the Asia Pacific Region.

     

    To facilitate this, in 2014, the Centre for Asian Business and Economics was founded by the Department of Management and Marketing, in conjunction with the Faculty of Business and Economics. This initiative aims to be an intellectual hub, which supports teaching and research that drives a deeper understanding of conducting business in Asia.

     

    We are currently inviting applications for an Associate Professor in Cross Cultural Management / International Human Resources Management.  The appointee will have a strong record of high quality publications in International Management and Human Resource Management and/or Organizational Behavior, (e.g. cross-cultural management, global talent management, global leadership and governance, top management teams within multinationals, global teamwork, headquarters-subsidiary relationships, expatriation and repatriation).  The appointee will teach and administer high quality undergraduate, postgraduate, PhD and executive education programs, and make a significant contribution to the collegial and intellectual life of the Department of Management and Marketing. The ability to develop strong links with the Australian and international business communities is considered favorable.
