The Faculty of Business is looking to appoint an Associate Professor (UK Reader) to conduct world-class research in human resource management and organisational behaviour. The successful applicant will have a strong track record in publishing, attracting research income, supervising PhD students, teaching on postgraduate programmes and working with stakeholders outside of academia.
The Reader will be situated within the Faculty of Business and affiliated with the Work and Employment Research Unit (WERU) and the department of Human Resources and Organisational Behaviour (HROB). WERU’s members include 20 members of staff, 15 PhD students, and 13 associates. Over the past four years we have won more than £1.5 million in research income and published in top journals on a range of work and employment-related topics. The HROB Department comprises of 26 academic staff and is responsible for a suite of successful undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the fields of human resource management, general business management and business psychology.
