    Dear all,

I recently asked for suggestions regarding measures for (individual differences in) Need for Autonomy. I have received many suggestions. Many thanks to (in chronological order:-)) Sid Sales, Frank Bosco, Thomas Mitchell, Hannes Zacher, Phil Thompson, and Marylene Gagne for the input. :-)

Most of these suggestions were sent to the list of course, but it might be helpful to have them in one mail. Therefore, I will summarize the suggestions I received below (plus some additional references of my own) in a list of useful references. Not all of these references actually contain scales for need for autonomy, but most of them do (or at least contain a reference), and all of them are interesting and useful for somebody who (like me) wants to know more about how to measure this construct, particularly in an organizational context.
