    Hello Colleagues,

I will be teaching a course 'Cross Cultural Skills for Managers'  for MBA students.  I am looking for good cases, exercise and readings for the same.  Any advice that you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

    Warm Regards

    Dear Bindu

Here at the University of Warwick we have a lot of open access resources on management across cultures, including the Global People resources, on our Global PAD website. For instance you might like to look at the Global People toolbook (downloadable from the Resources section of Global People), which has case studies and exercises about managing intercultural partnerships. Please see  http://go.warwick.ac.uk/globalpadintercultural and click through to Global People.

We also have some relevant e-Learning modules, including 'Understanding Culture for Work', 'Becoming a Global Leader' and 'Working in Global Teams'. Please see
    http://www.globalpad.net/globalties

    Best wishes

    Helen

    Dear Bindu,

Darden School of University of Virginia has some excellent resources in cross cultural management: http://store.darden.virginia.edu/cross-cultural?orderby=15

Once you are a registered faculty member on the web site, you will be able to access to an inspection copy and teaching notes (where available) of each case.

    Hello Bindu,

You might find Barnga to be an interesting simulation (see below). Its main message is that people from different cultures may be playing with a different set of "rules." The message is solid, and the game works well - IF students follow the rules of the game. I had a few groups that chose to share "rule sheets," which took away from the learning experience (but yielded other insights).
