Dear Swarup,
To make it easier, I've attached a pdf of my article (with Monica Forret) that Tatiana was kind enough to list. You'll see that there are a series of exercises in the article. Admittedly, some may seem more appropriate for undergrads, but I've used many of them with my execs to great effect, possibly owing to my observation that everyone "knows" networking but few do it well. If framed and debriefed appropriately, the networking role play can be a powerful avenue for helping participants realize the importance of networking not only for their careers/future positions, but also for becoming invited to contribute to important conversations within their organizations (a common complaint for those in staff v. line roles). Toward that end, I also recommend Anand and Conger's "Capabilities of the Consummate Networker" (http://www.amazon.com/Capabilities-Consummate-Networker-An-Organizational/dp/B000PDTAEE) which I've used a pre-reading in many of my exec classes.
Hope that helps.
Best,
Suzanne

Dear Swarup,
Here is a list of some articles with exercises that you may find useful.
· Suzanne C. de Janasz andMonica L. Forret Learning The Art of Networking: A Critical Skill for Enhancing Social Capital and Career Success Journal of Management Education October 2008 32: 629-650,
· Linking in With Linkedin®: Three Exercises That Enhance Professional Social Networking and Career Building Journal of Management Education July 7, 2011
· Špela Trefalt How Network Properties Affect One's Ability to Obtain Benefits: A Network Simulation Journal of Management Education first published on February 18, 2014
I personally used the last one, and it worked quite well.
Good luck!
With best regards
