    TENURE-TRACK POSITION in Organizational Behavior: The Department of Management at the David Eccles School of Business of the University of Utah (www.business.utah.edu) seeks to fill a tenure-track faculty position in organizational behavior starting August 2015. Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in organizational behavior or a related field, or show evidence of an earned doctorate by August 1, 2015.  Candidates at any rank are encouraged to apply.

     

    The organizational behavior faculty in the Management Department includes Bryan Bonner, Arthur Brief, Jack Brittain, Kristina Diekmann, Flannery Stevens, Kristin Smith-Crowe, Harris Sondak, and Elizabeth Tenney. With a shared interest in the dynamics of organizational life, this group of scholars conducts research in a broad range of topics that include ethical decision making in organizations, prejudice at work, negotiations, organizational justice, individual and group decision making processes, intra-group conflict, among others. This work is published in various top-tier outlets.

     

    The David Eccles School of Business faculty is recognized for its research, teaching, and scholarship. The school offers degree programs at the undergraduate, masters, executive, and doctoral levels, and teaching opportunities are available in each program.

     

    The University of Utah is located in Salt Lake City at the foot of the Wasatch Mountains. This location offers excellent opportunities for outdoor recreation, including easy access to the Rocky Mountains, the red rock country of the Colorado Plateau, and eight national parks including Grand Canyon and Yellowstone National Parks. Salt Lake City is the center of a metropolitan area with a population of approximately one million residents, has extensive arts and cultural activities, and has a major international airport that is a Delta Airlines hub with direct flights to most U.S. cities and direct international flights to Paris, Amsterdam, Mexico City, and Tokyo.
