  • 1.  Looking for a SIOP symposium

    Apologies for cross-posting

My co-authors and I have an empirical (data analyses are complete) paper on team culture and turnover we are looking to submit to SIOP this year. We are wondering if anyone is organizing a symposium around those topics and is looking for another paper.

We also think the study could fit well into a symposium focusing on team culture where studies have different DVs, or a symposium on negative performance or work withdrawal behaviors.

If you would like more detail please let us know. Alternatively, if you also have a paper and are looking for a symposium, maybe we can form one if we have enough interest.

    Thanks,

    Ariel Lelchook

My co-author (Cho Seonghee) and I have an empirical paper on how different work and family demands and responsibilities predict, over time, work injuries that we are looking to submit to SIOP this year (the submission deadline: Sep. 10, Wed). We are wondering if anyone is organizing a symposium around those topics and are looking for other related papers. This paper will fit well with the topics in occupational health psychology.
We also think the study could fit well into a symposium focusing on the role of core self-evaluation as a personal resource that helps the individuals better deal with environmental challenges or even better perform at workplace and home.
If you would like more detail please let us know. Alternatively, if you also have a paper and are looking for a symposium, maybe we can form our own symposium if we have enough interest.
    I appreciate your attention.
    Sincerely,
    Amit
