Syracuse University's Whitman School of Management is seeking applicants for 1-2 tenure-track position(s) in organizational behavior at the assistant professor rank beginning in the 2015-16 academic year.
Qualified applicants are expected to engage in high quality scholarly research and teach courses in organizational behavior and related fields. We encourage candidates to provide evidence of demonstrated research ability and promise, strong teaching skills, and enthusiasm for working with students and fostering a collaborative environment. Applicants should have earned a doctoral degree from an accredited program in OB or a related field by the position start date.
The management department offers degree programs at the undergraduate and doctoral levels. In addition, the department offers courses in master's programs including the full-time MBA program and several dual-degree programs. The department's faculty are actively engaged in research and publish in leading management journals including the Academy of Management Journal, the Academy of Management Review, Organization Science, Journal of Applied Psychology, and Strategic Management Journal. In addition, management faculty hold leadership positions with leading journals such as the Academy of Management Review and Journal of Management, and are highly involved with professional organizations such as the Academy of Management, Strategic Management Society, and the Society of Organizational Behavior.
