Essentials of the OB Division

The "Essentials of the OB Division" will be held on Saturday, August 8 from 8:00AM - 9:30AM at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver in Georgia B as part of the professional development workshops at the Academy of Management meeting in Vancouver.
Do you know someone new to the OB division?
The purpose of this workshop is to provide information, advice, and answer questions about the "essentials" of the AOM conference, the OB division, and the field of OB. The target audience is those who have joined the Organizational Behavior (OB) division within the last three years and want to learn more about the OB division and starting out in the field of OB.
The session is organized around a panel discussion with top OB scholars, new OB scholars, and individuals from the OB executive committee. We designed the forum so that new OB members can meet leading OB scholars and other new members of the division. The panel discussion includes Christopher Barnes, Hengchen Dai, Lucy Gilson, Bradley Kirkman and Stefan Thau.
