    Essentials of the OB Division
    (Session #: 379)
    Academy of Management
    Saturday, August 2, 2014

The "Essentials of the OB Division" will be held on Saturday, August 2 from 1:30PM - 3:00PM at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown in Grand Ballroom Salon J as part of the professional development workshops at the Academy of Management meeting in Philadelphia.

Do you know someone new to the OB division?

The purpose of this workshop is to provide information, advice, and answer questions about the "essentials" of the AOM conference, the OB division, and the field of OB. The target audience is those who have joined the Organizational Behavior (OB) division within the last three years and want to learn more about the OB division and starting out in the field of OB.

The session is organized around a panel discussion of individuals from the OB executive committee, top OB scholars, and new OB scholars. We design the forum so that new OB members can meet leading OB scholars in and other new members of the division. The panel discussion includes Cheri Ostroff, Riki Takeuchi, Marie S. Mitchell, and Harry Joo. More information on the PDW can be found here: http://program.aom.org/2014/submission.asp?mode=ShowSession&SessionID=159.

Registration is free, but space is limited so register early (registration ends July 25th) for session #379 at the following URL: https://secure.aom.org/PDWReg/logon.asp.
