The Department of Management at the Kogod School of Business, American University, invites applications and nominations for an appointment to an assistant professor tenure-track faculty position beginning fall semester 2015.

Qualifications include:
- Ph.D. in an appropriate Management-related area (organizational behavior, organizational psychology, human resource mgmt) or anticipated Ph.D. completion by August 2015.
- Strong commitment to high-quality research
- Academic and business background that would allow the individual to develop teaching and research expertise in organizational behavior and/or human resource mgmt.
- Primary research and teaching interest in organizational behavior, teams, and/or human capital.
- Potential for effective teaching at all levels.
- Demonstrated collegiality and good citizenship
Responsibilities include:
- High quality undergraduate and graduate teaching
- Research targeted at top-tier and high quality journals
- Participation in department, school, and university activities
