Dear fellow researchers,
To understand the dynamics of job attitudes better, I am currrently doing a
meta-analysis on job attitudes (job satisfaction and commitment) in
longitudinal studies, with a special focus on the context of organizational
upheaval (e.g. M&A's, layoffs, restructuring, but also the implementation of
HRM investments like in-company training, empowerment programs, you name
it). I also include longitudinal studies on job attitudes in normal
'business as usual' settings.
For the meta-analysis I am currently looking for unpublished work. Do you
have a longitudinal dataset on organizational commitment and/or job
satisfaction (in any context) which has not yet appeared in print and/or has
remained unpublished? If so, please send me a reply with the following
information: the means and sd's in the units under study for all the
respective time moments (e.g. T1, T2, and T3), test-retest scores (e.g., the
correlation between T1 and T2, T3-T2 and T3-T1), reliability and measures
used, and the type of research setting (e.g. downsizing, gender balance
sample). If available I'd also like to get the same info for predictor and
outcome variables used in that study, but only if measured longitudinally.
You can send the info using the enclosed data request sheet in Excel. You
could also just
send me the SPSS or Excel file, then I'll do the calculation of the
descriptives myself to save you time.
Please foward this request to anyone to whom this might be relevant.
Many thanks in advance!
Kind regards,
