    JUNIOR FACULTY CONSORTIUM
Co-Chairs: Sumita Raghuram, Lisa Nishii and James Hayton

Once again, we are preparing for an exciting Junior Faculty Consortium at the upcoming Academy of Management Annual Meeting in Philadelphia. Last year's event in Orlando was a huge success. Our sincere thanks to all of our presenters and participants for a great workshop!

Please mark your calendars for the 2014 HR Junior Faculty Consortium in Philadelphia, which will begin with a dinner on Friday, August 1st and run through Saturday, August 2nd. The sessions will address critical issues relevant for faculty at the starting gate of their academic careers, such as strategies for successfully balancing teaching, research, and service, as well as navigating university and departmental politics. You will meet senior faculty members from other universities and editors from the major journals, such as Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, AMJ, AMR, AMD, Journal of Management and Journal of International Business Studies. The Friday "meet and greet" dinner and Saturday workshop will also provide plenty of opportunities to network with other participants and faculty with research and teaching interests in HRM.
