OB New Member Networking and Research Forum

    Saturday, August 2nd

    3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

    Philadelphia Marriott Downtown

    Grand Ballroom Salon H

Dear New Member of the OB Division:

    ·         Have you joined the OB Division in the past three years?

    ·         Would you like to meet other new members of the OB division to make connections with those interested in similar research areas?

    ·         Would you like to make connections and discuss research ideas with leading scholars in your area of interest?

If you answered yes to these questions, then we have a PDW for you in Philadelphia! On behalf of the OB Division's "Making Connections" Committee, we would like to invite you to the OB Division's "New Member Networking and Research Forum." This PDW provides an excellent opportunity for new members of the OB division to make meaningful connections with other new members and leading scholars in the field.

The forum will include a brief welcome, an overview of the OB Division, followed by two rounds of research discussions moderated by renowned scholars in particular areas of interest. Research themes include both traditional OB topics – such as relational and social processes, team effectiveness, leadership, diversity, identification, motivation, and prosocial behaviors – and newer OB topics – creativity, time, emotions, and social networks. As a participant in the forum, you can self-select into the themed research discussions of your choice.

Please see the PDW registration site for more details and the list of facilitators. Pre-registration for this PDW is required. There is very limited space, so please register as soon as possible!

    Approval code is PDWBEW19
