Dear Colleagues,
I would like to call your attention to a faculty opening in the Psychology Department at Purdue University (see attached). We are hiring an individual with expertise in Advanced Quantitative Statistics and Methodology. An individual who could teach courses in structural equation modeling, HLM, or longitudinal analysis would be competitive. The candidate's area within Psychology is open, but we believe Industrial/Organizational Psychology candidates will be very competitive for the position. If we do hire someone with a PhD in I/O Psychology (or similar), they would be 100% affiliated with the I/O area. We are considering individuals at the assistant and associate professor level.
Purdue's I/O Psychology Program is among the oldest in the world, conferring its first degree in 1939. The current faculty have a wide range of research interests, many of which center around the psychological experiences of people at work. The program attracts top graduate students from around the world, and has significant collaborations with the OBHR program in Purdue's Krannert School of Management.
