The Work and Organisational Psychology Group offers, to motivated and high-quality individuals, the opportunity to develop research programmes and influence the future direction of the group. We welcome discussions with prospective candidates with interests in any area of I/O psychology, including organisational behaviour, leadership, diversity and creativity. We are keen to recruit candidates whose interests complement those of the group or bring specialist expertise in emerging research fields relevant to work and organisational psychology.
Candidates should demonstrate excellence in, and passion and enthusiasm for, their field of excellence This may be evidenced by an outstanding and sustained record of publications in leading international journals by significant engagement with business and policy developers and/or by the commercial exploitation of research. Successful candidates will have an exceptional reputation in their field and a wide network in the international community. Finally, we anticipate that successful candidates will have a strong portfolio of external funding for research.
