I use the Everest simulation in my chat room for my online MBA course. It works very effectively and the teams are able to learn a lot about working both virtually but also just in teams.

In my study, participants worked in a face to face setting. However, the chat function of the simulation would give you the option to run a virtual session.

***********Apologies for cross-posting********
Hello. My colleague, Christa Wilkin, and I are exploring factors that
impact team functioning in the virtual environment. We wanted to
see if anyone could recommend a good simulation or activity that would
enable us to examine team processes and outcomes in virtual (and ideally
non-virtual) teams. The task should require a high degree of collaboration
among team members. We are planning to run a lab study this Spring.
Thank you very much.
