Faculty Position in Management & Human Resources
Fordham University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the Management Systems area to begin in Fall, 2014. The successful candidate will have a record of research and teaching in management, organizational behavior and human resources management. Candidates must have a doctorate in Organizational Behavior, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field. Candidates with an additional interest in individual differences are strongly encouraged to apply.
The successful candidate will have a record of outstanding teaching which would support her or his role in an innovative undergraduate core curriculum, and in graduate programs including the M.B.A. and a new Masters program in Human Resources Management. He or she will have a research agenda which will lead to publication in the discipline's defining journals. Faculty members have served in editorial roles at such leading journals as the Journal of Management and Journal of Organizational Behavior. Publications have appeared in the Academy of Management Review, Journal of Applied Psychology, Academy of Management Perspectives, Academy of Management Learning & Education, Organization Science, Psychological Science, Journal of Management, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Operations Management, Group and Organization Management, Journal of Supply Chain Management, Management and Organization Review, and Psychometrika, among others.
Located in New York City, Fordham's Schools of Business offer a variety of programs of international distinction for students and practitioners of global business including the baccalaureate and MBA with concentrations in Management.
