ASSISTANT PROFESSOR FACULTY POSITION IN HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

The School of Human Resources & Labor Relations in the College of Social Science at Michigan State University seeks applicants for a tenure-system position at the Assistant Professor level in HRM. We are particularly interested in applicants with research and teaching interests in any of the following areas: leadership, change management, and organizational development. We seek applicants with demonstrated records of research and scholarship excellence and demonstrated records (or strong potential for success) in obtaining external funding to support one's research agenda.
Primary instructional responsibilities include teaching in our signature Master of Human Resources & Labor Relations program and at the undergraduate level. Depending on the selected candidate's area of expertise and interests, there may also be opportunities to teach in our doctoral program. This position is an academic-year (nine-month) appointment with an approximate beginning date of August 16, 2014. Applicants must have completed a Ph.D. in a relevant field such as human resource management, organizational behavior, employment and labor relations, or other related fields and disciplines prior to the beginning date.
