The strategic plan emphasizes five (5) areas: a) teaching and learning; b) excellence in research and creative activities; c) campus community; d) community engagement; e) infrastructure. Finally, candidates with interest and/or experience in working with the student chapter of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) as well as engagement in the design and implementation of the HR/OB curriculum are desired.

Deadline for applications:  December 1, 2013, or thereafter until filled.  Submit CV with letter of application that includes statement on teaching philosophy and strategies, business experience, research/professional accomplishments and goals and impact of research activities, as well as a description of any interest or experience in one of the five strategic plan areas. Other documents (e.g. references, copies of transcripts, and evidence of teaching and research) will be requested of those who pass the first screening.  Materials should be submitted to Mike Stull, department chair, at mstull@csusb.edu
