Hi Miriam,
There was recently an article in Academy of Management Learning & Education that focused on interpersonal skills and provided a taxonomy:
Bedwell, W. L., Fiore, S. M., & Salas, E. In Press. Developing the future workforce: An approach for integrating interpersonal skills into the MBA classroom. Academy of Management Learning & Education.
Best,
Andrew

Miriam,
The Conference Board of Canada has developed a classification of skills as part of their "Employability Skills 2000+" initiative. The link is below, if you are interested.

Subject: [OB-LIST] soft skills
Dear Colleagues,
Does anyone know of any efforts to standardize the idea of "soft skills"? Is there a taxonomy or classification of soft skills? I'm looking for research primarily, but would also be interested in citations to popular management literature, too.
I've already searched several business and psych databases, but am not finding much.
Thanks in advance,
