    Dear colleagues,

    Apologies for any cross-postings.

We are seeking unpublished empirical studies for our meta-analysis on the topic of Hierarchy in Groups and Group Effectiveness.  We define hierarchy as the social ordering of individuals within a team, along a valued dimension. Studies of hierarchy may include topics such as leadership distributions in groups, salary dispersion, power centralization, influence networks, or status diversity in teams.

    Inclusion criteria:
§  Topic: We aim to cast a wide net, including any empirical study relating to the dispersion, centralization, or diversity of members' power, status, influence, or leadership within the group. If you are unsure of whether your paper should be included, please email us.
§  Information needed / Data requirements: For inclusion, we are looking for data at the group-level of analysis, which includes a measure of team hierarchy and a group-level outcome measure (including group processes and/or outcomes). We require information on the effect size statistics, reliability of the IV and DV, and the group- and individual- level sample size.

If you have a relevant unpublished paper we could include, please contact us at LGreer@stanford.edu. Upon inclusion, your paper will of course be properly cited. We would greatly appreciate your help in helping us to avoid potential publication bias in this meta-analysis. Thank you for your assistance!

    Best regards,
