The School of Business invites applications for a tenure-track position in marketing or management (organizational behavior, human resource management); appointment is expected at the Assistant Professor level, however applicants for an Associate Professor position may be considered. This position is subject to budgetary approval.
Candidates must have an earned doctorate in a relevant field, or be close to completion. A record of excellence in teaching and research appropriate to career stage, or a demonstration of clear promise is required. The successful candidate will be a member of the faculty team and be expected to balance service contributions with scholarly productivity and teaching excellence, at the undergraduate and executive MBA levels. The UPEI School of Business has emphasized evidence-based management and enjoyed considerable case competition success in recent years. Candidates who are able to contribute in those areas are encouraged to apply. Preference may be given to candidates with both strong academic qualifications and professional experience in an applied setting.
