    I am writing this mail on behalf of the Director (equivalent to Dean), Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indore to explore possible academic collaboration.  IIM Indore was established in 1996 (website: www.iimidr.ac.in).  During the last 15 years of its existence, it has gained the reputation of fastest growing Institute in the country.  Some of the unique features of IIM Indore include –

     

    ·                    Largest Post Graduate Programme (PGP) within IIM system (class size of 450)

    ·                    About 60 faculty members

    ·                    Vibrant Ph.D. programme with an intake of 15 students a year (70 Ph.D. students in 2013, likely to stabilize at 100)

    ·                    Product for every segment of management education like executive MBA, weekend MBA, etc.

    ·                    First IIM to launch an Under Graduate Programme in management

    ·                    Academic presence in different geographies like Bombay and Dubai

    ·                    Significant infrastructure facilities on a 200 acres campus.

     

    We are in the process of strengthening the academic content of our programmes.  We would like to have your specific help in any of the following areas.

     

    ·                    To be a co-adviser to our Ph.D. candidates

    ·                    To visit the Institute for a short duration to teach concentrated courses for a duration of one or two weeks.

    ·                    Consider opportunities to teach through Skype to our Ph.D./MBA courses.

     

    In order to explore some of the opportunities, we would like to meet with you while you are in the AOM meeting in Orlando.  We will prefer to see you either at lunch (12.00 noon) or evening coffee (5.00 p.m.) or dinner (6.30 p.m.) on any one of the conference days i.e. 9th , 10th , 11th , 12th and 13th in the main conference venue, more specifically Coronado Springs Resort.

     

    Please indicate the date that suits you the best for such a meeting.  Alternatively, myself or any of my colleagues would see on any location / time / date that suits you the best. 

     

    Would greatly appreciate to hear from you as early as possible.
