    Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management

    The Department of Management at Michigan State University is seeking to add a new tenure stream faculty member beginning in August 2014 in the area of organizational behavior and human resource management. Qualified applicants should possess a Ph.D. in a relevant area of scholarship (e.g., management, applied psychology) by August 2014. Applicants should be able to demonstrate progress toward national recognition as a researcher through pending and/or current record of publication in top-tier journals. The Department of Management at MSU is committed to quality research and teaching, and it consistently ranks in the top ten for research productivity and doctoral training (please refer to our webpage for more information about our department and faculty: http://management.broad.msu.edu/). Research responsibilities include maintaining an ongoing research program that contributes to continued national scholarly prominence as well as working with Ph.D. students to develop their research capabilities. Teaching responsibilities consist of undergraduate and graduate-level courses in organizational behavior and human resource management. In addition, applicants should be able to demonstrate ability as a classroom instructor through summarized peer and/or student evaluations and/or explicit commentary in letters of recommendation. Salary, teaching load, and service requirements are competitive and comparable to other top research universities.

     

    To be given consideration, applicants must provide a curriculum vitae, a cover letter describing their primary research interests and accomplishments, three letters of recommendation, and recent teaching evaluations.
