on Work, Wellbeing and Performance Sheffield, UK | 24th-26th June, 2014 Dear colleague, Business keynote We are delighted to anounce Salem Samhoud as our business keynote speaker. A successful entrepreneur, Salem is the founder of &samhoud – a consultancy with offices in The Netherlands and Spain. Salem Samhoud has consulted a large number of prominent companies and organisations, including the Dutch Ministry of Transport, Public Works and Water Management, Municipality of Barcelona and the Dutch National Railways. Pre-conference workshops As in previous years, we will host a series of workshops on the first day, before the main conference proceedings begin on Tuesday evening. There will be workshops designed for organisations and practitioners, sharing the latest thought leadership and insight from work psychology research. If you are interested in particular topics or have specific suggestions for workshops, please email us. For our academic delegates, we will again be running our popular statistical training and postgraduate and early-career events. The programme for the workshops will be posted on our website shortly. Reminder: Submit your paper or symposium There are now just four weeks until submissions close. We invite high quality submissions in all areas of work, applied social, organisational, industrial, occupational and vocational psychology and in the related fields of organisational behaviour and human resource management. Submissions to the scholarly programme can be for paper presentations, poster presentations, or symposia. The deadline for submissions is Friday, 15th November 2013. About the Conference The conference is hosted by the Institute of Work Psychology, Sheffield University Management School, and will take place in Sheffield, UK on the 24th-26th June 2014.
