    I want to present the role and benefits of using sanctions for regulating behavior. I now discuss the downsides of using sanctions and the value of relying on psychological regulators instead. However, there is clearly a place for sanctions in organizational life. 

    If you have any references that discuss the role and benefits of sanctions, I would greatly appreciate the information.
    I will take whatever resources I receive and share it with the listserve.
