Teaching, Scholarship, and Service Requirements:
The Department of Marketing and Management invites applications for a nine-month tenure track position at the assistant or associate professor level beginning in August 2015. While the primary need is in the area of Organizational Behavior, the ideal candidate also will possess teaching and research skills in other areas of Management. The ability to teach Organizational Behavior courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels is required along with the ability to teach some other courses in a management concentration (e.g., principles of management, strategic management, or other HR or OB-related classes). Scholarly activities and research commensurate with other duties is essential to success. Faculty members are expected to participate in the school's assessment program and in student recruiting and retention efforts for the school and the university.
Promotion and Tenure:
Effective teaching, scholarship and service are required for promotion and tenure. Additional requirements are established by each school or college.
Qualifications:
Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Management or a closely related management field completed by August 2015. Several years of work experience outside of academics will be considered a plus. Additional competencies (business/management experience, on-line course delivery, consulting, etc.) will be viewed favorably by the Search Committee.
Physical Requirements:
Occasionally requires standing, lifting, pulling, pushing, carrying and climbing, reaching both high and low. Frequently requires walking and balancing. Constantly requires sitting, repetitious finger and wrist movement, speaking clearly, hearing conversations, hearing (with acuity), seeing near and far with depth perception and color vision.

The Meinders School of Business is accredited by the AACSB. Oklahoma City University is seeking energetic individuals who can provide academic leadership in building the Management area at the Meinders School of Business.
