    Professor of Organizational Psychology/Assistant Dean

    Department of Organizational Psychology

    Birkbeck College, University of London, UK -School of Business, Economics and Informatics

     

    Permanent position commencing on or before 1 September 2013.

    Birkbeck, University of London is a research-intensive institution ranked in the top 200 in the world by the THE. The School of Business, Economics and Informatics brings together the College's business-facing departments and has expanded by 65% since its founding in 2009. The appointees will be members of the School Executive which includes the four assistant deans who lead departments.

    Candidate Requirements
    The Department of Organizational Psychology was established in 1962 as the first department of occupational psychology in the UK. It plays a distinctive role in occupational psychology, HRM and organizational behaviour. The Department has over 20 staff and around 350 fte students. Applicants should be able to demonstrate a high-quality research track-record commensurate with submission to the 2013 REF and clear plans for future research. They should be able to contribute to postgraduate, undergraduate and post-experience teaching programmes. Applicants should have experience of leading high-performing academic units.
