2014 Conference on Commitment

COMMITMENT IN ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXTS

November 14-16, 2014 Columbus, OH, USA

Registration is now open for the 2014 Conference on Commitment. This conference brings together a community of scholars interested in the phenomenon of commitment to share and discuss ideas and findings relating to the conference theme: Commitment in Organizational Contexts. The purpose of this conference is to advance the literature by promoting leading edge thinking on all aspects and forms of commitment. The small size of the conference is designed to promote interaction and dialogue among attendees to facilitate networking and sharing ideas.

 The conference begins Friday afternoon November 14, 2014 with networking opportunities. Conference sessions will begin Saturday morning, November 15th and end at noon on Sunday, November 16th. There are 26 presentations of a variety of lengths and formats on the single-track conference program, with program participants representing 15 different countries. The complete program is or will soon be available on the conference website (see below). Registration is required to attend the conference events. A special issue of Journal of Organizational Behavior will be developed from the best presentations and ideas from the conference. Appearing on the conference program does not ensure an authorship opportunity nor is it a prerequisite. The program committee will solicit potential articles after the conference.
