    Assistant Professor of Human Resource Management or Organizational Behavior

     

    The Eli Broad College of Business' Department of Management at Michigan State University is recruiting for a tenure stream position in human resource management or organizational behavior.

                                            

    Qualifications: The ideal candidate should possess a Ph.D. in a relevant area of scholarship (e.g., Management or Psychology) by August 2013. Preference will be given to applicants who have a primary research and teaching expertise in human resource management. In addition, applicants should be able to demonstrate progress toward national recognition as a researcher through a pending and/or current record of publication. Salary is competitive.

     

    Responsibilities: Research responsibilities include maintaining an ongoing research program that contributes to international scholarly prominence as well as working with PhD students to develop their research capabilities. Teaching responsibilities will consist of undergraduate and graduate courses in the areas of human resource management. In addition, applicants should be able to demonstrate ability as a classroom instructor through summarized peer and/or student evaluations, and/or explicit commentary in letters of recommendation.
