Dear colleagues,
loyalty of co-workers, team-members, and employees in general are of great interest for ages. Although it has been intensively researched –similar to the related concept of organizational commitment– solid knowledge regarding determinants, processes, and consequences is difficult to discern. Our intention is to offer a platform for scholars, executives, and students to elaborate more deeply into the phenomenon and to identify interesting areas for future research activities.
Hence, we would like to invite you to actively participate in the Professional Development Workshop (PDW) entitled 'Employee Loyalty and Organizational Commitment Revisited - Exploring Future Research Opportunities'. (refer to: http://program.aomonline.org/2014/Session_Details.asp?print=true&SubmissionID=16586).
The PDW aims at:
1) Providing a forum for scholars and practitioners alike, to discuss the employee loyalty and organizational commitment concepts and relevance.
2) Offering in particular young scholars a platform for discussing ideas and revealing promising research fields.
3) Initiating a future network of scholars and practitioners who are interested in extending their knowledge and exchanging research ideas about loyalty, commitment, leadership and related issues on a continuing basis.
The PDW is sponsored by the OB, HR, MC divisions and will take place on August, 2, 12:30PM-3:30PM.
Please not that pre-registration is required until July, 25 (https://secure.aom.org/PDWReg).
If you have any questions regarding this PDW please contact us.
We hope to seeing you in a couple of weeks in Philadelphia.
On behalf of the whole team
