    ASSISTANT PROFESSOR ORGANIZATIONAL BEHAVIOR

    Suffolk University's Sawyer Business School is seeking faculty candidates to join us in our dynamic Organizational Behavior group that is part of our Management and Entrepreneurship Department. The ideal candidate will deliver high quality research and teaching in Organizational Behavior with a secondary interest in Leadership. This position requires a completed Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior and a proven track record in organizational studies research and teaching. Preference will be given to candidates with applied research topics.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               

    The Management and Entrepreneurship Department consists of 14 full-time, high quality scholars and teachers. Our faculty members have experiences publishing in top-tier journals such as Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Academy of Management Annals, Personnel Psychology, and Journal of Organizational Behavior. Faculty members are encouraged to engage in cross-collaboration within our department, as well as other departments within the Sawyer Business School. In addition, our commitment to research is further evidenced by our Research Committee as well as other grants and benefits afforded to faculty research initiatives. Teaching load is five courses per year (with a reduced load of four in the first year of employment) to an average class size of approximately 30 students. Our Management major is consistently one of the largest programs within the Sawyer Business School with approximately 400 students. We offer courses in the areas of managing across cultures, leadership, managing change, creativity and innovation, managing workplace diversity, negotiation, human resource management, small business management and our senior project capstone course. In addition, our faculty members offer a variety of courses within the Organizational Behavior concentration in the MBA program, in the Executive MBA program, and participate as scholars within the Center for Innovation and Change Leadership.
