Dear Colleagues,
We are putting together a symposium on employees' emotion management within organizations for the SIOP 2013 conference and would like to invite interested presenters to join our session. The symposium will be focusing on employees' emotion management/regulation in interactions with organizational insiders (e.g., coworkers, leaders, subordinates, etc.) and how different management/regulation strategies may influence work outcomes.
We currently have 2 papers. One examines the antecedents and consequences of employees' emotional expression management in interactions with leaders and peers. The other tests a multilevel model in which coworkers' and leaders' emotion regulation strategies may interactively impact one's perceived psychological climate for authenticity and job satisfaction.
If you have a paper or ongoing research that may fit the theme of this SIOP symposium, please email Xiaoxiao Hu (xiaoxiaohu.pku@gmail.com) or Jessie Zhan (yzhan@wlu.ca) with a description of your potential contribution.
We are looking forward to hearing from you.
Jessie and Xiaoxiao
