    POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

    RANK:  Assistant Professor of Management and Entrepreneurship

     

    ASSIGNMENT:  To engage in quality research leading to publication in nationally recognized, refereed management journals, to teach undergraduate and graduate entrepreneurship and strategy courses, and to be involved with the College's B.S., M.B.A., and D.B.A. programs.  The teaching assignment consists primarily of teaching graduate and undergraduate entrepreneurship and strategy courses.

     

    POSITION STATUS:  Subject to final budgetary approval, a tenure track position, effective September 1, 2015.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:  Ph.D./DBA (or ABD) in management with an emphasis in entrepreneurship from an AACSB International accredited program.  Commitment to classroom teaching (including proficiency in written and spoken English), proven research productivity and/or demonstrated research potential is required.  Start-up experience and interest and ability to be involved with the business community (including teaching executive education programs) are strongly valued.

     

    LOCALE:  Louisiana Tech University is a medium-sized university (approximately 11,000 students) whose College of Business is located in a two year old facility with funding approved for expansion in 2015.  Located in Ruston, Louisiana, a pleasant community offering excellent family living conditions, quality schools and medical facilities.  Ruston is on Interstate 20, thirty miles west of Monroe and sixty-five miles east of Shreveport.
