Open Rank / Full-Time Research Faculty in Organizational Behavior

Sabanci University would like to invite applications for a full-time position in Organizational Behavior for the 2015-2016 academic year. Candidates should have an existing track record of publishing in top-tier journals or a clear demonstration of the ability to do so, and a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior or a related discipline or field of study. Although research in any OB area is welcome, a teaching or research focus on leadership will be given priority. Candidates who have a strong background in research methods and a desire to work with doctoral students are preferred. Additional expertise in Human Resource Management, International Management, Entrepreneurship, Strategic Management, or a related field will be considered favorably. Teaching will include undergraduate and graduate courses in Leadership as well as other areas of Organizational Behavior and/or Human Resource Management. We are particularly interested in individuals who are strong organizational citizens and who are interested in being an active member of a rich academic community.

The School holds strategic international collaborations with MIT Sloan School and MIT-Zaragoza Logistics Center in Zaragoza, Spain and runs several centers including Corporate Governance Forum and Entrepreneurship Center.

The Organization Studies group within the School has a strong research orientation with a solid publication record in major academic journals such as Management Science, Strategic Management Journal, Organization Studies, and Journal of Applied Psychology. Faculty include Nakiye A. Boyacigiller, Behlul Usdiken, S. Arzu Wasti, Ozgecan Kocak, Mahmut Bayazit and Isin Guler. The teaching load and salary are competitive and commensurate with qualifications.  Faculty also receives annual research budgets, as well as outstanding computer, administrative, and library support.
