AoM ORGANIZATIONAL BEHAVIOR DOCTORAL CONSORTIUM: AUGUST 3-4, 2012
The 2012 OB Doctoral Consortium will be held on August 3 and 4 as part of the pre-conference program at the Academy of Management meeting in Boston.
The consortium includes an interesting and energetic mix of presentations, discussions, and interactive sessions designed to launch doctoral students into their academic careers. The consortium will begin on Friday afternoon, and will continue throughout the day on Saturday (participants must attend both days). The program will include faculty presentations and roundtable sessions on topics such as crafting the right academic job, succeeding at research and publishing, preparing for effective teaching, and managing work-life balance, as well as other related topics.
This consortium is for advanced OB students (and students in related disciplines) who will be applying for jobs in 2012, to start faculty positions in 2013. Application materials are available on the OB Division website (http://www.obweb.org/). The deadline for receipt of nominations and supporting materials is Friday, May 18, 2012.
