Assistant Professor - Organizational Behavior

Northern Illinois University, the second-largest public university in the state of Illinois, is a comprehensive university with about 23,000 students located in DeKalb, Illinois, which is 65 miles west of downtown Chicago. The College of Business educates approximately 3,000 undergraduate and 800 graduate students.
The Management Department has 16 full-time faculty members who teach in the undergraduate, evening MBA, and Professional and Executive MBA programs. Faculty members support undergraduate programs in leadership and management, human resource management, and business administration, as well as a variety of graduate management courses in the M.B.A. and M.A.S. programs in the college. REQUIRED SKILLS
Position requirements include a PhD in Management or related field from an AACSB accredited school, successful teaching experience in an area of management and leadership, publications in high impact management journals, demonstrated ability to interact with practitioners and to work collaboratively for the development of programs in leadership. Related business experience is desired. Support for research activity is offered and includes summer support, travel, graduate assistants, and a reduced teaching load. The position will commence in August 2012.
