    HI all,

Thanks to all those who responded to my question about tasks that can
be used in the lab to assess both quantity and quality (most
suggestions use creativity as a proxy for quality) of performance.
For those who are interested, here’s a list of tasks that were
    suggested:

    - Charlan Nemeth’s work coding anagrams in terms of quantity of words
produced and novelty of the words
    - Johnson and Johnson's book Joining Together: Group theory and group
skills. There are a lot of group tasks, and group researchers use
    these tasks all the time.
    - The Desert survival task by Homan et al. (2007 Journal of Applied
Psychology) - people have read info pamphlets and come up with a list
of items necessary for desert survival. Quantity is just the number of
creative items groups generated (so it's not a measure, we coded for
that, but we first coded what items are categorized as creative
items). For quality, we looked at their relative performance score
(weighted score of items ranked against expert ranking/total number of
    items generated).
    - Pearsall et al 2008 Journal of Applied Psychology
    - Aimee Kane’s origami-folding task (2010 Organization Science; 2005 OBHDP)

Thanks again to everyone for their suggestions!

    Ciao,

    Lance
