  • 1.  Search for group decision task

    Dear all

    we (Prof. Felix Brodbeck & myself) are looking for a group decision task to be used in an experiment, which fulfills the following three criteria:

    1) information can be distributed in a hidden profile fashion;
    2) the decision task is similar to those found in business organisations (e.g. making an investment, hiring someone);
    3) the diversity of group members can be manipulated in regards to their expertise (i.e. each group member has a specific domain s/he knows most about, e.g. financial topics, human ressource topics).

    We would be most grateful for any recommendations or comments!

    Best regards
    Benedikt Krings

    You should check the Pfeifer and Jones handbooks and yearbooks.

    There is one called something like al-khabari (spelling is undoubtedly
    wrong) that probably fits your criteria.

    Information is distributed among group members and has to be combined to
    reach an optimal decision.

    As it is set in a Middle East country getting Us military assistance, it
    may have renewed relevance.
