    Applications are invited from individuals with expertise in Industrial and
    Organisational Psychology.



    The University of Western Australia (UWA) is one of the best performing
    research universities in Australia. In the recent Excellence in Research for
    Australia assessment, Psychology at UWA achieved the top rating of 5
    (January 2011) and was one of only 3 institutions in Australia to rate at
    this highest level for Psychology. The School hosts research programs in
    several Australian Research Council (ARC) funded centres, including the
    Centre of Excellence in Cognition and its Disorders and the Bushfire
    Co-operative Research Centre. Additionally, a number of staff are funded by
    the Australian Research Council on prestigious Professorial Fellowships.
    Strong links have been developed with the UWA Business School and a joint
    research initiative is about to commence with the opening if the Accelerated
    Learning Laboratory (ALL@UWA). Research-led teaching and evidence-based
    practice are emphasised and embedded in the School as essential to the
    student experience. Masters and Doctoral level training are offered in
    Industrial/Organisational Psychology. A substantial number of students also
    enrol in the standalone PhD degree.
