    Getting back to the above thread discussed a few weeks ago, here's one for the methods classes, though the issue applies to any social (or other) science, not just psychology.  It also speaks somewhat to limitations in the peer review vetting process; potential problems associated with not publishing disconfirming (null) results, especially those studies using good designs; and the problems with the academic reward system's emphasis on number of publications and grants.
